He'll die heroically. Small comfort, I know, but there's that. Such a good character. Did you hear that Reedus is supposed to be in talks to be the next Wolverine? I'd like to see him in something a little deeper, but I'll take what I can get. :) Have you seen the Masters of Horror ep called Cigarette Burns? He was so good in that (though it's one of the most unsettling things I've ever seen on TV)!
I haven't seen those others, no...

So great to FINALLY see him in the story arc. I just wonder how he's going to feel about Rick now after seeing what he did and his previous statement of "all life is precious"
Canot wait to see the Wolves play out. Hot damn they're evil!
Carol is my favorite favorite favorite! She's more badass than Michonne right now.
I know the finale has been discussed to death by now so I'll just say....Yay!!

can't edit it into a spoiler but I guess since you already saw it....lol. I didn't spoil anything though except for maybe the picture but you don't know what happens in that picture! ;)
I have no idea how you got that to do that! ;-D Normally I could have gone in and fixed the coding where the bracket was put in the wrong spot but your full message won't show up in Edit mode so I can't open the text that should be within the spoiler. No idea why.

Edit: Tried it one last time and it worked. There are gremlins in the machine today for sure. I've had a few other squirrely things going on.

Okay folks, does anyone want these? (and no I am not sucking up after my previous non spoiler tag ;;D)untitled.png IMG_20150401_142307-e1427925011738.jpg
The T-shirt is a unisex medium and I just plain don't have a use for that bag. I subscribe to this thing called Horror Block and they include a t-shirt and I have way too many now that I don't wear and need to. Either my friends don't want it or it won't fit the ones that do so might as well give them to someone who does. Message me your address if anyone wants these and I'll mail them out. Before anyone asks I'm not trying to sell them just give them to a good home =D just got them in this months Block so they're brand new.

Hey, all! Hope everyone is doing well! I know I'm kinda late, but just wanted to share my quick thoughts on the finale, WHICH WAS AWESOME!
So, first: I was so sure that a big, main character was going to die! SO HAPPY that was not the case! I must say that I'm disappointed with the writing of Father Gabriel--nothing to do with the actor--just the material that he's given. Can't stand him, his character is more interesting in the comics--I was kinda disappointed that he didn't meet his end in the finale! And of course, the reunion of Morgan and Rick. While Morgan is all "life is precious" and there's Rick with his face all bloody and shoots a guy in the face! Couldn't have end it better!

Season 6 needs to come now! I can't wait! The second half of season 5 gave us awesome stuff. The finale just also showed why I love Rick so much--he's such an interesting character--in the TV show and comics--with thanks to Andrew Lincoln who gives the character so much life off the written pages of the comics. I think my favorite line of the series has to be so far from the s6 finale: "I was thinking, How many of you do I have to kill to save your lives? But I'm not going to do that. You're gonna change." Just great!

Does anyone watch The Talking Dead? One episode had Ross Marquand on the show, who plays Aaron. He does impressions, and he did a KILLER impression of Matthew McConaughey. It was spot-on! He's really good! He did a video with all his impressions if you guys want to check it out! He's quite talented!

Do's and dont's to keep you well during a zombie apocalypse. (Remember, the life you save may be your own.)

1. Never rest. Keep walking. Secure all exits and entrances.

2. If you carry a firearm, make sure it's loaded. Crossbows, swords, knives and blunt instruments will serve in a pinch.

3. Trust no one, because you are never safe. Always be wary. The zombie that does you in may be just around the corner.

4. Kill your "darling" zombies (spouse, child, loved ones), since they will no doubt turn on you.

5. Enter host cities (Terminus, Alexandria) with caution, and once in, never let your guard down. (See No. 6 below.)

6. Don't bathe. Don't bake. Don't party. Intimidation is the name of the game.

7. Cultivate an appetite for wild, uncooked food. Consider adding "cannibalism" to your vocabulary. Table manners are optional.

8. Never dress in red. Always tread lightly.

9. Give if you must, but take when you can. Always strike first.

10. Make peace with the devil. Someday you may find yourself entering his domain.

Sorry, sorry, had a property mishap so we've been busy sorting stuff out for that, as well as other everyday stuff. I did get chance to watch the finale 3 times, though, so...

Carol.
I'm half and half with her right now. Something drastic has changed in her since the arrival at Alexandria and it's not really working. I think some of her past is catching up with her emotionally - she is finally in a safe place and can deal with the reality of being free from her abusive hubby, as well as lingering grief for her daughter. Plus she was banished and probably harbours some resentment for that, though if so it's coming out in a funny way. Overall, it really seems as if the new showrunner initially had no idea what to do with her or didn't like the way she was, so wanted to introduce a change. No problem there, but if it's too abrupt it looks illogical. There are probably reasons for it, and good ones, but they weren't made overt to the audience, so...shoddy writing/production.

Rick.
Surely has no chance with Jessie anymore, assuming he shot Pete (and it was either Pete or Abraham he offed; the twist of his body after Deanna told him to 'do it' meant his weapon was no longer pointing anywhere near Reg. Secret option 3 is that he fired into the dirt near Pete's head prior to P***head Pete being given the boot at the start of next season...and probably leading the Wolves straight to their door).
He's also in a bit of trouble if any zombie eyeballs got in his mouth.

Glenn.
Should be dead. Should. Be. Dead. Round in the shoulder, weakened by the pain and blood loss plus the effort of the scrap, 4-5 zombies doing the team pile-on thing...gone. Deader 'n' disco. No two ways.
But what's this? Not only is the little sod still alive, but he can easily defeat the other guy - who, really, shouldn't have got away from the warehouse. Glenn took him back following Noah's death. I'd have blown his kneecaps out and left him to the zeds...but that's me.
Either way, I expected Glenn to be a zombie inside the walls after Gabriel left the gate open. I also expected Zombie Glenn to gatecrash the little fireside soiree and have Maggie completely lose her...sheet.

General.
Good to see Morgan back, though I thought my 'Dead within 10 minutes' thing was going to turn out to be right before he did his Bruce Lee impression. Mr "Yeah, I just taught myself a bit of Wushu to kill time...and zombies...and cause non-fatal damage to people". Not sure his Buddhist approach to life in the ZA could or would work, but it explains why he didn't tie Tweedledum and Tweedledee to a tree and give the zeds an all you can eat buffet.
I also had a good laugh at the zombies' dance club truck. It's been my opinion for years that that sort of music is for...shall we say 'people of limited brain function'. The zeds shuffling off towards the flashing lights and beat of the music reminded me fairly strongly of the local town centres on a Friday and Saturday night, for some reason. (I'll stick to various forms of rock and indie, thank ya muchly.)
I said Glenn should be dead. I'd add Aaron and Daryl to that, too. There were just too many in too close a proximity, since Noah's demise sort of established that zeds have unlimited strength and fingers of steel - until it comes to snagging hold of Dazza's hair or jacket. A bit of time for them to get to the car...fine. Fewer zeds directly in the way (the yard behind them was empty; when they turned around, though, it was full)...also fine. As it was...gone.

On balance, it still feels like it's an OK programme, but one I might have given up on if S1 had been as it is now. It also feels like there's a truly great/strong show still trying to get out, but its hamstrung for some reason. A mate of mine said he thought it was good despite itself and some of the decisions the producers make, not because of what it is or the decisions made. I'd more or less agree with that.
And can someone please take away the Aliens incidental music soundtrack from whoever's in charge of it? That'd be lovely. (The commonality is Gale Anne Hurd. Just sayin'.)

We are simpatico on just about everything. Carol's
change of character was so complete that it's ridiculous. People can change, no doubt about that, but there has to be some lead up, some character development to get them to that point, especially as her change starts upon entering Alexandria. It would be different for me if it was just in the way she interacts with the Alexandrites, that would make sense, but the change is when she's with anyone. Crappy writing.

Glenn's
injury is handled as shoddily as every shoulder shot in nearly every book/movie/tv show. It's always a, "WHEW! It was just a shoulder shot!", when in reality that's an incredibly dangerous and debilitating injury. Big know of veins, arteries, a major joint, big nerve cluster, all in one place... sure, no problem to get shot there *eyeroll* The Rick/Jessie thing will just be creepy and WAY unbelievable if they go through with it, IMHO.

One thing I am curious about is how Morgan will be handled, as Lennie James has his other project. DAMN, but he's still the best actor on this show (closely followed by Lincoln). I'm going to be sad to see him (James)go.

Judith?
Would make sense and the plot easier to write.

Also gives the writers time to find a way to tell the death of Judith in such a way that won’t garner a lot of public outcry.

Looks like season 6 involves the Wolves getting feisty, Carol getting control, Sasha and Gabriel getting redemption, Daryl gets civilized, and Rick gets laid.
