Always enjoy the sights driving into work when the Snow Geese come through on their migration. You see flocks of tens-of-thousands together in the farm fields. Absolutely spectacular when you see them all take to flight at once.

I hate those things. I was attacked by one once. Luckily he decided to just take a bite out of me rather than use those powerful legs.

Something about me that just naturally seems to piss wild animals off. Dive-bombed by bluebirds, threatened by wild turkeys, charged by a bison, attacked by a deer (that one I understand as I discovered I was standing next to her hidden fawn), charged by a wild black bear while fishing and had to run into the lake to escape, bitten by snakes & box turtles, etc, etc.

Got 3 cats - 2 were rescued from FURR and 1 showed up at the door as an abandoned kitten in freezing conditions - malnourished and full of fleas and ticks and the vet said he probably wouldn’t have lived another day if we didn’t take him in; 2 birds and an aquarium. The female cats love me only when they want to be scratched or fed, the male cat is just a troublemaker, sneaky and nuts. The birds don’t count and they couldn’t care less about anyone, they are just noisy, dirty and eating machines - and I understand to my dismay they live for a very long time. I like the fish - you just feed them, keep the tank clean, and flush them when they die.
