Eraserhead is way creepy!I have seen a few episodes, damn fine they were, but the show is too hard to rent over here. I like David Lynch (I am fond of the surreal). Did anyone see his short film series "Rabbits" ? Creepy as hell.

I'm so jealous! The owners of that house were paid $5,000 a week for the use of said house while they filmed there. I used to live about 5 miles away from it and would go everyday when they were there filming.

He was a great character actor. He appeared in many Lynch projects.
Jack Nance in Eraserhead.
Jack Nance in Twin Peaks.
I really liked him as an actor. Sadly, his life ended in a pretty tragic manner in 1996. He was only fifty-three.
OMG. I never ever put it together that this was the same guy! D'oh!

Sheryl Lee is every once the Lady! She was so, so gracious to everyone when she was at the first Twin Peaks Festival many years ago. I got to meet her numerous times during the filming of Fire Walk With Me (where I hung out watching them film every chance I got) and at the Festival later on where I volunteered as a member of the Staff. Got to walk her into the theater in North Bend for the premier. She was crying after seeing the film and I never got the chance to ask her why. Ray was true gentleman. He was very kind and gracious and funny, too! When he was up on one of the outdoor stages at the Festival someone in the crowd yelled out 'Sing for us, Ray!' and he launched into a wonderful rendition of 'Mares Eat Oats'. Never got the chance to meet Sherilyn tho......I recently watched this show for the very first time and I loved it. I see what all the fuss is about now. It completely sucks you in. Last month I met Sheryl, Sherilyn, and Ray at a convention and they were the best group of people. Very friendly and fun as you can imagine.
I haven't seen Fire Walk With Me because I heard it wasn't very good and kind of spoils the series. Thoughts on this?
That's awesome! Sounds like a great time! So in your obviously biased opinionwink should I see the movie?Sheryl Lee is every once the Lady! OMG! YES see the movie!!! Keep in mind that it's the 'last seven days of Laura Palmer'. It's all about Sheryl Lee, who in my opinion deserved an Oscar nod for her performance here. She will break your heart! You already know what happens- she dies- so that's no shocker but what she endured will be. Coop is in it for about 10 minutes or so and of course her parents and Donna but they used a different actress for Donna (who is MUCH better than weepy-eyed Lara Flunn Boyle). Lynch has finally released on bluray the entire series and also Fire Walk With Me and included as 'extra's' the additional scenes that were deleted from the film. That's awesome! I think the rabbits show up in his last film 'Inland Empire', at least there's a sequence with three people dressed up in rabbit suits on a stage- very bizarre. I guess one of the rabbits is played by Naomi Watts tho you can't see her or hear her. Strange.....I have seen a few episodes, damn fine they were, but the show is too hard to rent over here. Ohhh, yeah.....When I think Inland Empire, I think of two weird-azz faces from the movie. You know the ones ?
and
Haha! David Duchoveny (sp) before the X-Files!!!!!I'm rewatching all The X-Files episodes. Sometimes I just can't help thinking of Denise from Twin Peaks.

Alright, I'll do it! I wondered about the blu ray set. I have the Gold Box edition so not really sure I want to spend $ on an upgrade. I will add the movie to my netflix and report back. thanks for your input!OMG! YES see the movie!!! Keep in mind that it's the 'last seven days of Laura Palmer'. I'm waiting for the bluray set to drop below $60. It will eventually......Alright, I'll do it! I wondered about the blu ray set. I have the Gold Box edition so not really sure I want to spend $ on an upgrade. I will add the movie to my netflix and report back. thanks for your input!
