I don't know if you watched last night's episode, but
at the very end, when Sam "fell", did he fall into some sort of abyss? Was that the way out? And if so, where do you think where to? I'm guessing wherever Pauline or Lyle are...
What's with that obelisk? Is it a connection?

I recently watched a movie (can't remember its name) in which a meteor stuck earth in the States and traveled completely through the earth and came out in Australia so my first thought was that Sam would land in Australia lol. My second thought was that the abyss was a vortex to the alien world. Do you think Barbie will find a long rope and explore?

I think it is fair to say that Sam is not dead, especially with the preview for next week when Barbie goes down as well. I would expect Lyle to be there too, probably Pauline, and who knows who or what else. I would expect the obelisk thing to be connected as well. Who knows, there is a world of SK material they could integrate into this series if they wanted to ... I said earlier that the entire episode had a lost under Derry feel to it.

LOL I have never seen A Space Odyssey yet, which is a travesty!!! I believe that's what she called it! No idea what it means, either, but I have to go, until then, we can all swap theories later...anyone has any idea what the obelisk means?
