No stupid here, Campbells has new crock pot sauces for different meats and poultry and this one is for a roast. They call it tavern roast. Let you know how it was tomorrow.

I like to make a hash brown dish with ham. Just hash browns mixed with a small sour cream and a can of cream of chicken soup, topped with cheddar cheese and corn flakes. Bake at 350 for 50 min to an hour. Goes really well with anything that has bbq sauce on it too!

Having home made chicken and chorizo stew tonight, with sauté potatoes and stir fried leek and cabbage.
Last night, cooked up shredded tilapia and fresh spinach in citrus and teriyaki and spread it on cold salad. Perfect warm-weather meal.

Oh, yeah. Thanks for the concern! Just a hard day at work for her, feeling a bit beat up, and by the time the comfort food, wine, and a BBT rerun were over, she was feeling better.
The tavern roast made with the Campbell's slow cook sauce was ok but the family is more inclined toward my three packets of spices plus beef slow cook.
I did get the slow cook sauce for my pork tenderloins saving that for Sunday.

Tonight is brined pork chops, macaroni salad or mashed spuds, and broccoli. Beef and pork are already getting crazy high at the regular supermarket--thank god for our little Mexican market! They're still reasonable (and their meat is better, too ).
