This place we are going to has all kinds of weird East Indian food. I am not even sure what to order.

"paneer pakora"; "papadams"; "Tandoori Malai Tikka"; "biryani"; "allo ghobi masala"; 'Tandoori mixed grill"; "butter chicken"; "Vindaloo chicken"; "naan bread" and (gulp!) "goat curry"!

- don't worry, @Dana Jean I won't order the goat! xD

I love this style of cooking, it is super delicious. Don't hold back Neesy, try lots of different things, your taste-buds are in for a real treat. :)

It was good - I had shrimp and scallops (Scallop and Prawn Sizzler). Andy had Chicken Tikka, Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan.

Starter was Vegetable Masala Papadams.
Lots of spice - it cleared my sinuses!

The people next to us were celebrating their wedding anniversary - she showed me the picture on her phone - gorgeous jewellery and colours - they really go all out at Hindu weddings

Hey @Jojo87 it is the first day of February, after all. My favourite day in February is the 15th - that is when all the Valentine's Day candy goes on sale!

yummy!

Thanks Neesy for letting me know. I had already forgot that it is Valentines day this month. I was only remembering that my paycheck is coming
Feb 15th and yes I'm eating candy but won't have that for my supper this evening.

Sounds good @VultureLvr45 - how do you make a Stromboli?
I didn't make it last night, but probably will tonight. Went out for white pizza instead.

How to make stromboli. Pizza dough, You can roll it out in 1 big one or several small ones. Pepperoni Sliced thin, ham, salami, sausage, cheese, veges, and tomato sauce. Little bit of sauce (less than for pizza) smeared over rolled out dough. Layer meats and cheeses, (and veges- also thin),
Roll it up. Seal it and Egg wash top. Bake it, then Slice and eat it. Google for exact times and temps. Mine always comes out looking like a calzone and stromboli mix due to all the stuff in it. Don't forget more sauce on side to dip bites in...yum.

,
Yummy! Love Palek Paneer (Pureed spinach, curry, and fresh cheese) with basmatti rice, or naan (bread), samosas (fried packets of potato goodness, with occasionally beef or peas in them), Red Chicken and cream curry.... Yum! If we didn't have Indian neighbors, wouldn' t have a clue.8)

We're visiting a friend tonight and it's a Windybum takeaway (Indian takeaway). I will have anything with fresh chillies, hubs will have lamb madras, a tandoori chicken and our boy will have lamb tikka. All washed down with wine, and good cheer in front of woodburner. My mate is a veggie so who knows. Indian is brilliant for veggies I reckon.
