I love this shot!

Oh, dang. I've never seen this shot--I love it. Classy.

Like I said in the newb section, I'm reading Revival. Just finished Prince Lestat, which I think is the best in the Vampire Chronicles since The Vampire Lestat.

Also reading Save Yourself by Kelly Braffet, which has the most compelling first chapter I've encountered in quite some time, and The Casquette Girls by Alys Arden. Juggle juggle juggle.

I'm glad you like the photo and I just may read Prince Lestat!

I finished a YA book about Typhoid Mary (Deadly) today (my daughter has been bugging me to read it for a while) and started The Redeemer (Jo Nesbo). Deadly was pretty darned good! I enjoyed Anthony Bourdain's NF book about her, and this one was good, solid historical fiction. I'm going to have to put off The Redeemer until I read the first two books in the series--I got through the first five chapters, but backstory kept spoiling plot points of the first books, therefore I'll just wait until I can check out the first books :). Now I'm sorting through the TBR pile for something new.

Hey, that reminds me: would anyone in the US be interested in a HB copy of Night Shift (bookclub edition, dust jacket), Dead Zone (book club, no jacket) or TWTTK? I got a new copy of TWTTK yesterday, so I have an extra. Very good condition, dust jacket, ex-library copy. No charge--I just would like to see them go to good homes :)

I've started a reread of Tommyknockers. Have only read it in swedish and was not impressed but figured i owed the english version a shot. So far it is better than i remembered but we'll see. Still... It sure could have needed another editing. Some words and sentences just seems unnecessary. Might be just me though... But i read in an interview somewhere that it wasn't king's fave either.

I think The Tommyknockers plain embarrasses ole Stevie. Me? It's one of my personal faves.

Tommyknockers is truly the ugly duckling of King's books. Sigh....
