I didn't know the new movie was going to come from Porno! I thought it might be from The Blade Artist, if it wasn't something totally different from either. Wow, that will be difficult to film! I know they managed with Filth, but...YIKES. Definitely will have similar problems with American distribution. I live in a weird, weird country, my friend. Blow up whatever you'd like, kill indiscriminately, but WHOA! Watch that sexual content! And drugs are bad--make sure you have lots of death (particularly bloody, horrific death) if drugs are involved!
Wouldn't surprise me if the book cover was different over there.

It felt like an hour and half version of the Smack My Bitch Up video, not a bad thing IMO.
It was a CRAZY movie! I can't imagine anyone better than McAvoy for the part. He's fearless as a actor, and you need that to take a part like this and sell it. That was such a great year for him, too: Filth, Trance, and Welcome to the Punch all came out then, and all were different kinds of fascinating :) He's one of my absolute favorites. Even in a snorer like The Conspirator, he stands out.

I've just finished Fight Club. I wonder, if I hadn't seen the film, at what point I would have realised it was about a
schizophrenic
. If anyone else has read it I can recommend Irvine Welsh's Filth, it's quite similar.
To answer the question about Fight Club, not till the very end do you find out the twist in the film.

I don't suppose you saw him in the UK's version of Shameless?

I finished reading Gaiman's The Graveyard Book. I liked it. It was a sweet story :) Sweet is probably not the right word to describe it lol but it made me smile :)

I was hoping The Graveyard Book would take a longer time to read. Now I need to find another light read to fill the time until End of Watch and the third Passages book are released.

Just finished Full Dark No Stars and about to jump into Dark Tower 4.5...
That's great! The Wind Through the Keyhole was actually the first book I read about the Dark Tower (believe it or not)

Another light read? Under the Dome? The Stand?
(you could burn through either one by June I am sure!)
