Ayup!Finished the first Blackwater book last night. He has a very old-fashioned style that's like slipping into cozy socks
I loved this book!!!!!!!Reading The Drowning People by Richard Mason. How anyone could have written such a best-selling mature novel at the age of 22 is hard to believe. It has a bit too much mood for me but I cannot deny that it is a bloody masterpiece.
So glad you liked it skimom2. Wait until you are done with the whole saga! You will feel like you know these people and even though they are bizarre (and somewhat frightening) you'll miss them when they are gone.Finished the first Blackwater book last night. I got myself the first three for later as summer reading. Will they be worth it? Never read anything by him before. Is it a good idea to secure the rest if i can?Finished book 2 of Blackwater & a bit into book 3.
Three books down, three to go These are crazy, crazy stories! I've chuckled so often and read so many things aloud that I'm going to have to buy my own copies for the kids to read-lol.I'm about 80 pages from the end of the third book. These books absolutely shouldn't work, but somehow they do I'll definitely be reading onto the fourth (at least).
You'll be fine for the most part.Gonna start Finders Keepers (I haven't read Mr Mercedes yet, hopefully I'll be alright).
In One Person - John Irving
I just started last night. It's been a while since I've read a John Irving novel. He has a new one coming out this fall too.
It ain't about wrestling, is it?
