My brother and I used to stay up late to watch Benny Hill. Haven't seen it in years and years......Gee, you must be OLD!!!How come I can never find any channel (and I've got hundreds of them from my cable provider) that shows The Benny Hill Show?

I'm so old my memory is in black and white. My brother and I used to stay up late to watch Benny Hill. Haven't seen it in years and years......Gee, you must be OLD!!!
I found my three season DVD set of a show called "Millennium". It was created by Chris Carter and James Wong, the X-Files guys. Lance Henriksen is cast as "Frank Black" an ex-FBI agent and profiler who is able to put himself in the minds of killers. I had forgotten how good this show was. The show takes place in the late 90's and a side plot is that the group Frank Black works with believes the year 2000 may bring about Armageddon. Great writing and dark plots in every episode. I had forgotten I bought this DVD set back before I moved into my house in 2004. My son's down with a very nasty stomach virus so I'm binging on the whole series today. The opening credits and music are very coo. "Wait.....Worry.....Who Cares?"
Yep, I sure did. I hated that they cancelled the show just as it was getting really good. I knew it wouldn't go past the year 2000 but I had hoped it would go another couple of seasons but I heard they cancelled it for the reasons you specified, that it was too dark for network television at that time. The X-Files/Millennium crossover episode was awesome. Carter/Wong had another short lived series that I really liked "Space: Above And Beyond". It only made it one season but it was pretty dark also for a sci-fi series. All the good shows get cancelled, dammit.Dude! This was the BEST show Carter created after X-Files. But for the time it was released, it was far too dark for network television. You did, of course, see them wrap up Frank's story (kinda) in the X-Files episode I take it?
This is Us--Completely in love with this show, era-specific anachronisms and all. Every episode so far has been on point: funny, poignant, and with GREAT dialogue. I'm a little in love with one character, and we keep getting closer to knowing how he died. I DON'T WANT HIM DEAD!

I just finished season 1 of a Hulu original called Shut Eye and I liked it. It's about a couple that are psychics and run a small business from their house. They are part of a larger crime network run by gypsies. They are trying to get out from under the gypsy's thumb and through much of this season are working on a large con to try and make enough money that they can leave.
