Okay, so I've been hearing this song on the 'piped-in' music at work for about two years (maybe less) and no one I asked ever knew who it was. I finally asked someone with an 'app' on their phone to find out for me (it's an app that 'hears' the song and then tells you who it is). The song is You Are My Girl by Jack Miz and it is one killer dance song!! The problem is that it apparently isn't available to buy. He has a cd out with about 6 songs on it but this isn't on it. Someone help me because I have to have this song!!!!!!!!!

It's not listed on the soundtrack, tho. The soundtrack has all of the orchestral music, none of the other songs.

I'm not a member of any of the digital music places where you can buy songs so I haven't looked at any of those places. I even went to Jack Miz' site and you can't even buy it directly from him.

I guess they only contracted for the rights to use the songs in the movie but not on a soundtrack for sale. The score on the other hand is explicitly written and produced for the movie, so that is why you can find that for sale.

It's not your fault. It's just one more example of why this has been frustrating for me ever since I found out the name of the song/artist. One of the best songs I've heard in a long time and I can't have it!!!!
