I have seen Rush live over 30 times. I wonder what Tery's count is? Can you tell I'm new here? haha! I'm not a "prog snob" though. I enjoy all kinds of music especially including 80's pop and 70's radio. Actually love the 90's rock as well. A little harder to find much current music I like though unless it is older bands that are still performing/recording.

A LOT. She was also a moderator for a RUSH board associated with Bubba, Neil's friend.

That ending is as thrilling as riding recklessly down a steep mountain in a blazing Ferrari and sailing off a cliff. It's that deadly, that awesome. What victory sounds like.
I remember hearing it at the Alabama Symphony when I was nineteen; it was an appetizer to Tchaikovsky's Sixth and both were unforgettable.

There is a black-metal band fronted by a pug. A pug.

AC/DC - Back In Black

Funny thing is that when this album came out, I was determined not to like it. I was a huge AC/DC fan and a huge Bon Scott fan. This album was released just a few months after Bon died and I was appalled that they could replace him so fast. It seemed cold. So, I wasn't going to like it. After a few months of everyone around me listening to it, I finally caved and admitted that I loved it. ;-D

I have no proof but I think Bon had to have written You Shook Me All Night Long (or at least a few lines of it). There are some lines in that song that are pure Bon. AC/DC had to have some of this album written when Bon died to have released it so quickly.

Edit for additional info - Bon died in February 1980 and this album was released in July 1980.
