I ordered the Harry Potter film book for my work Pollyanna. Just so happens to be the paper ripper/ turtle snapping crunching potato chip one. She put it on wish paper. That or a dvd for cats. (think) or adopt a farm animal in her name. Looked that one up. Book for her.

She provided links.

Don't mean to sound like I am bit!ching. This place is so strange you just gotta laugh. I am not alone, it makes for good break times. Shake our heads.

That book looks awesome, By the way.

I'm gone take the whole day off...even though I already did some work, generated an estimate for six windows for a church/rectory in Atlantic Mine. Took yesterday "off" too though I did meet with Father Alexander (dressed in black, long gray beard, some sort of black head covering) and measured windows. Called another guy who stopped last weekend where I was working in Houghton by the school, installing a couple of windows there. He'd asked about prices. I said about $375+ for the Bronze, about $450 installed for the Platinum, no-extra-charge for a time for triple-glaze. That's too much, he says. Best of luck with it. Wally-mart does not have the same success as the larger outlet. Hey, I could write "Made in China" on it, no-extra-charge! Still, $400, too much. Or the country of your choice! Finland, Poland, Pago Pago. I'll have to think about that.

Snow. We have a white blanket and the wind is howling. Could do without the wind. Sitting in a tree with gale force winds might not be the best of ideas. I'll bring the kindle. The wind won't ruffle the pages. A selling-point, but why listen to Wally-mart? Best wear gloves today, and a thicker chook. The orange one, barely pull it over my noggin but it keeps my head warm.

I'm all a-shiver just thinkin about it. I hope you have a wonderful day. Best wishes. :)

Potential Clipboard Lady trouble. This could be note-worthy. Maybe two.

It was the ice. I got ice from the freezer. I share a bag with coworker. In comes CBL. behind me..
'oh, you bring your own ice in too??' I jumped.

Thanked the coworker I share with later. She says 'I didn't bring any ice in'

:waaaht: What if it was Clipboard Lady's ice?? :waaaht:

Oh no! Proper procedure would be labeling. I'd say it's her failure to properly label items left in public areas. Write HER up. You need some labels for yourself. Our secretary has her name labels on all her property: ruler, stapler, pens, scissors. 'ware you be caught with one of her pens in your hand. She'll take it right out of your hand.

I'm more like this.. Because. CBL is fun, see what she does next. Somebody put a banged up quarter in her snack tray cup. She tracked them down. HOW can I take this to the bank!!

For some reason, my head just spun around like Reagan in The Exorcist......:biggrin2:

Good luck, Neesy!
You can do it!!!
When time and money were in short supply, I colored my own hair quite a few times - and it's down to my butt.
Not easy and very messy but the end result wasn't bad. Good luck!

Good luck, Neesy! I do my own roots. I use a foam type product and it does a great job. Wear an old shirt you don't care to mess up and if you do get any dye on your skin, nail polish remover on a Q-tip should take it right off!=D
Thanks for all the good wishes - it actually did turn out just fine (luckily) but I know when I go back to see my own hairdresser she will give me a "piece of her mind"! :hopelessness::nope:
I need a good haircut too and that is not something I want to play around with :music:

Under your bed
Got woke up by the ex-wife this morning, scared the hell outta me. First thought:What kinda trouble is my son in now? But, thankfully, she just needed to vent and rant about her own personal issues (of which she has many). Yeesh, I'm too nice, I swear. Should tell her she lost her 'crying on my shoulder' privileges way back when she dumped me, but just can't do it. Gotta be the better person, I reckon, for my kid's sake, and for my own personal karma.

But doggone it, I prefer sleeping in on Saturday! She's a third shifter, so it's no skin off her nose. Bah.

Went to get my car washed this evening and the owner tells me to drive in to one of the service bays so his son can start the job. As I'm getting out of the car this gangly kid with a faux-hawk and earring walks up to me and says "Hey uncle, do you want Armor All inside the car too?"

"Alright, let's start with my name. It's Steffen..."
