I woke up lethargic and I wasn't particularly hungry. Then still my legs felt really tired, I went and had a shower and walked around till my body dried. Then I went and put the rubbish bin outside and came back and got dressed. I went out and had lunch, a hamburger. The I walked to the Salvation Army and had a look what they had in 2nd hand DVD's and CD's. There was an audio book of Ruth Park's Missus which is a prequel to The Harp in the South, so I bought that seeing I haven't read the book, Missus, but have read Harp in the South. I also bought a CD 'The Best of Honky Tonk' by The Dixie Land Rag Time Band.

Our 1/2 graders were on a field trip all day (and that's the bulk of my work), so I spent most of the day prepping lessons for the next month for all my groups and individual intervention students. I had one 3rd grade intervention and my 3rd grade reading groups in the afternoon. It was a productive day! Dinner (Swedish meatballs), dishes, movie, kid bedtime, then another episode of Z-Nation. Now I'm ready to go to sleep :)

I've doing some scanning, I'm trying to work out how to crop the pictures properly. I've also been trying to find the pictures of my graduation from Harvard when I got my PhD in quantum theory when I was 16. I've also wrote out an algorithm in the last ten minutes that can calculate (with an accuracy of = or - , 2%) that future events for the next 24 hours.
You got a PhD in quantum theory when you were 16?

Did you go outside naked, Mr. Cranky? ;-D

Today I had an interview for a new job. It's not a medical transcription job however.

It would be working in the mailroom and delivering stuff all over the hospital!

Wish me luck

She still has to talk to my current manager about attendance etc.:m_fingers:

I hope she recommends me for the job

Thanks!

69 days until retirement hahaha (if I want)

Dammit I just burnt my right hand with some scalding hot water while pouring a cup of hot tea - ouch

Good luck to you, gal! If you want to keep on working. I'm retiring the minute I qualify. I'd retire right now if I could.

I sat around and did nothing. Our power was out all morning because of the storm. Now Iam finishing my half dry load of laundry and my half washed load of laundry. Next I must do my morning chores , A mixed up day here.
Glad you made it through the storms. They were terrific over here on my side. Not devastating - just loud and windy and perfect.

Two hours in the dentists' chair in the afternoon with more to come

Ugh! I need to do that. I'm procrastinating. :dread:

Update on the renters. They have a little more than 12 hours to reply to the eviction summons. If they don't, we are going down to the courthouse bright and early Friday morning to get a summary judgement. We don't want another weekend worrying about it. Hopefully, the sheriff's deputies will assist them and their things out on Friday afternoon.

Sorry to hear you have to go through this :flat:

- my Dad used to rent out apartments in our Triplex in Toronto - he said it was amazing how quickly some renters could wreck a place before moving out - hope it turns out okay and not too much clean up once they are finally gone!:adoration:

Thanks Neesy. They didn't reply to the eviction summons so on to the next step. I hope they don't trash the place but, if they do, those costs will be added to the judgement.
