My daughter has a school expo thing today, to which she promised to bring one of our illustrious pets. She conveniently forgot to tell us she needed to take it until last night, which wouldn't matter much if it was a dog or cat or some sort of creature. But nooo. She wanted to take the tarantula. The 9 year old, bigger than my hand splayed tarantula, whose cage is a good 50lbs. .___.

Long story short, where does a pink tied tarantula the size of a saucer go? Where she wants, (or doesn't want), to go. We finally just took the whole cage up there, with explicit instructions for no fingers to be wiggled or waggled through the opening in the top of mesh. I am not responsible for not or gnawed appendages. (They're high school kids, so hopefully they'll show a bit of responsibility.) :bomb:

When studying biodiversity, I taught a big unit on spiders. One of my students brought in her tarantula and used a carrying cage made of plastic, similar to the one below. My students were very respectful of the spider and we all learned a lot from her.

Help me help me. My anxiety is through the roof, we are getting a new store manager and my panic and anxiety is going through the roof, this will,be the 3rd change since like October when our old manager left for a stress related vacation, and whent to a different store smaller, then we had a mean lady come out and bitch at everybody for two weeks, then leave and had.a temporary manager. And things changed like 10 times. And I had to go,through all this with a panic disorder... that I am in therapy for. Please send me good vibes.

Yup. My one daughter who is amazing at drawing cartoon images owes me a favor and will be home from college for spring break. I going to have her digitally draw me an anime type Roland image and background. I’ll then put it in comic book form and call it...
