Double standards, if guys started putting young woman in bikinis on this website there would be a complaint against the them.
I am not a guy

I posted a picture of Miss Canada in a bikini - one that she wore during a pageant! (but because she had
"cameltoe"
it was considered too revealing and I was reprimanded :flat::dejection:

If you want to find the picture yourself I believe it was the 2015 pageant :cool2::icon_eek: (Miss Universe)

I didn't really mean anything by it, I sought of was just being a bit silly, I didn't really care. I don't even know who the bloke is, he looks Native American, he most probably is an actor.
I saw a guy very much like the one in the picture walking around Winnipeg - he had that silky black straight hair and it was shining in the sunlight - we have a lot of First Nations/Indigenous/Aboriginals in our city :cool-new:

Scandalous!
What did I do today?

I got frustrated because at the very end of my shift I went down to the Mail Room to return the key and lock the door - when I got back to the Pneumatic Tube Room some security person had been doing their rounds and locked the door!

I had to call them to unlock it - this door is to remain open at all times as it is inside a secure clinic;

I ended up getting back home about 20 minutes past my usual time and scanned out at 11:15 (however will only get paid until 11)

My day was going really good up until then!

The picture you are referencing was inappropriate for this site, it left zero to the imagination and had been manipulated to be used out of context--somebody had used her body part to help spell out a word.
I was surprised that you were surprised to be pulled up for posting it. (Also I tried Googling the image just now and it's not showing up, so perhaps it took quite a specific type of search to find it in the first place?)

I didn't mean to offend anyone here! Yes, he is native American who's home is in Alaska, and yes, he is an actor. Played in Magnificent 7 last year.
I think I have seen pictures of women in bikinis here before.

I was doing some cleaning today and I found a warranty card for a 20" CRT TV I bought in 1995 for $2,350 (I'm quoting my local currency here, not US$). That bloody thing shorted out only 2 months ago and I finally tossed it.

These days you pay twice that much for a flat-screen LED TV that lasts a year or five, if you're lucky. Yay technology.

No, it did not - I run across random images from time to time - I did apologize for offending anyone, but I honestly was not trying to get on anyone's nerves :concern::apologetic:

Again, sorry for offending anyone

So - what did I do today? Hardly anything - my body is messed up from shift work

On Monday I am on 8:15 to 4:45! (This is after over 10 days of afternoon shifts where I get home around 10 or 11 p.m. :facepalm_smiley:)

p.s. Now that you have explained it, it makes sense - they had used the words "Follow me on twitter" now that I think of it;

Here is a better picture of Miss Canada, in her "national costume" celebrating hockey at the Miss World pageant:

I guess I was a bit unsure of why it was brought up again and discussed in the threads after establishing that the photo was in poor taste/not appropriate for the site.

No hard feelings, Neesy... :) I just think it's always a good idea to second-guess ourselves when posting images and think about who our audience might be.

Sorry to hear about the shift work, those hours sound really tough!

I bought an old disman ie a portable CD player, at work for$10.00 and my younger coworker in her early 20's was like wow this is old, how does it operate. I then told her about the 80's sport Walkman and how that was the status symbol of the day. I think I blew her mind

My son searched for years for a working Walkman for a Halloween costume. We still have cassettes and a working player, so he could record the actual music he wanted.

Many First Nations people in the Okanagan too, but, I have never saw anyone that looked like that :)
Another reason to visit Neesy :wink:

Thanks FlakeNoir - I was a bit worried that maybe my computer had contracted a virus - sometimes it seemed like it was directing me to sites or pictures that I did not ask for or were on the somewhat raunchy side. I guess that is the nature of the internet - you always have to be on guard for hackers and those sites that install trackers - I wish I had a computer expert here to clean up this stupid old computer of mine.

We appreciate the work that all the moderators do - you keep us all on the "up and up" and make the SKMB one of the better, [if not the best!] message board out there - thanks again!
