Had an MRI on my shoulder this morning. Never had one before. Didn't realize I would be placed in a GD COFFIN!!! I could have touched the roof of that contraption with my tongue I was so close to it. Normally not claustrophobic but that was ri-GD-diculous. I have big shoulders and they were literally pinned to my chest for 25 minutes straight. Chin beard MRI tech kept telling me to relax. Yeah you come in here and relax Mr. 5'7 skinny guy chin beard man.....could have used a Valium or a couple of shots, or a karate chop to the back of the head and just been knocked out. NEVER AGAIN....lol :nrvs::stfu::lee::twitchy:
Do they offer open MRI?

To be honest never having had one I had no idea until my fiancé mentioned the open MRI Spidey. That looks a helluva lot more inviting than the friggin' coffin I was shoved into...lol Chin beard and I were getting real chummy there for a few minutes. I can barely use my arm because my shoulder, which was already jacked up 8 ways from Sunday, now feels worse than it did before...ahhh modern medicine..

I don't blame you. You should have kicked them!
If I had taken my stick, I'd have jabbed them
Seriously, I hate buying a car.....they see a woman, and apparently think I'm stupid. I've done the research, and I've done the math. This dude actually looked shocked when I told him he'd wasted all the time I had allotted to waste that day.

Yeah, unfortunately a lot of car salesmen still treat women that way.

The whole business is shady. Its especially sad when the customer knows more about the product than the salesperson. The last few times I bought a car the salespeople barely knew anything about the cars they were selling. They then would argue with you about things they didn't know.

Good idea
Friday evening we got 2.7 inches of rain, so doing anything outside was a bust. Called in a few family markers and got an additional 3 tables, twenty chairs and two benches. Also got some family and friends to help set up Saturday morning since I couldn’t to anything Friday. Four rooms filled with food... the kitchen, the breakfast room, dining room and half of one garage. The amount of food and drinks was ridiculous. Day actually went off rather well. Had a little over 100 people and parking wasn’t a problem as long as they followed my arrows. My calves are still locked up after two days and I’m walking like an old man... well, a much older man, anyway. :)

It was my wife’s side of the family. Heck, I couldn’t remember 80% of their names let alone put a story with a person. They did do video conference calls at 2, 4 and 6 pm from family in Arizona, Germany and Japan. And I was way too busy to listen to anything, anyway. My wife did have a select DVD she put together from 47 of her father’s old 8mm tapes. It spanned the 60’s through the early 80’s (no sound) and mostly was comprised of family get-togethers. She played it in the game room. I understand that everyone who watched them all had different stories regarding the videos (but it was mostly coming from the next generation, who were only kids at the time). So either old age has affected a lot of people’s memories or it’s make-it-up-as-you-go-along.
