My goodness! What do you feed the grasshoppers in New Zealand? Small rodents?
Weta's are not grasshoppers!
They do jump like them (but higher) though... very creepy lil bastids. We get them in our firewood and they hang out in the willow trees out the back by the river.

For scale, that's a rainforest.
I never used to worried about spiders but, this one time I was staying at my folks place, I was in the shower and washing my hair, I felt this thing on my leg so I rubbed the shampoo out of my eyes, looked down and I sh*t you not, a massive huntsman spider was on my leg...and I know it worked its way down my body *shiver*
I leaped out of the shower and my mum came in cause I was yelling...please note I am not a screamer, I make a lot of weird noises but no screaming, oh and swearing, a lot of that too...anyway mum saved me and now I can't shower at my folks place...so what gives me the heebie jeebies...my folks shower!

Was not sure what this is supposed to be so I copied and pasted the description:
Another menu that is also good to eat is the chicken mushroom bowl. It consists of rice, chicken dice, chinese sausage and big mushroom. They use white rice, when combined with all those and I think some more spice, that is why it smells well and taste good.
