I saw Bill Maher in Orlando on Saturday.
Saw him at the Dr Phillips Center of the Performing Arts. Awesome place.

My husband and I visited a friend in Boston over the long 4th of July weekend. It was fun. We did not stay in Boston for the fireworks though; we flew home that day and saw the fireworks over the Manhattan skyline. Probably for the last time live as we are making headway towards moving to California in the next few months. Woohoo!!!

I put new siding on one side of my house. The long side. ugh. My arm is killing me from hammering a bazillion nails, caulking and then painting (by hand, by brush)

It looks fantastic and we did extra things that a professional crew wouldn't have bothered with. I will never have water damage on that side of my house again in my lifetime. Tapped off sprinklers that were no longer needed. I am woman, hear me roar.

Worked on more Patriots for Daughters of the American Revolution. Watched a lot of shows.

Reminds me, where is not_nadine ? I wonder if she got her spit test back.

Have you spent much time out in Cali? That is my land of origin BTW. I have family out there as well as friends. Mostly in the SF Bay and Sacramento areas.

My uncle and his husband were lucky enough to move into Pacific Heights in the early 70's. They bought in cheap and now own two 3 story brownstones. He's a computer geek like me. He actually wrote most of the mainframe code that underlies BoA's online banking system. He is retired now. His partner is in some sort of import business. They have more money than god. LOL

My dad lives north of Sacramento. I haven't been out since 2013 unfortunately. My last trip was to see a close family friend who had final stage cancer. He passed away shortly after my visit. But he and my mom got to hang on the steps of the UC Berkeley library just like '69 again. :)

I saw fireworks over the Bay at Vinoy Park in St. Pete for the 4th and then another show at the Metallica concert the next night. Both shows were pretty good.

....a'int done diddly....conserving some fundage for next summer.....however, it is past time that my beloved have one of her "mental health" trips away from the GNT'S Den....every once in a while-she needs to skedaddle and get away from life here, and she is trying to figure out how to get her BFF along on the trip-since the young lady doesn't have any vacation time left and really isn't in a financial situation to just take unpaid days......sooooo, the fat white guy here has made an offer......I will pay her what ever she would lose in wages, so she and Tracy can get away......we will see if it flies.....
