I always feel slightly salty whenever I see overseas vacation photos, even though Hawaii is a United State it’s far enough away that I wouldn’t consider it an out of country trip. The only other country I’ve been too is Canada and that was when I was 2 plus it was also righ near the US/Canada border so doesn’t it even really count? The two countries I want to visit most would either be Greece or Japan

Get out there and see the world!! I'd love to go to Japan.

Humuhumunukunukuapua'a and a pair of Long-Nosed Butterfly Fish. Both endemic to Hawai'i.

I know how to pronounce this because I watched the Octonauts. Shellington teaches us!

Thank you all very much! I do like to take pictures when I'm there, trying to get the perfect one. Especially with the fish. It's hard to get good pics of them because of their movement, the waves, surge, etc. Back before digital underwater cameras I wasted a lot of film! Now I just aim towards the fish and click away. :)

I hope you can all visit me when I move over there in a few years. We're retiring to the Big Island and will have an extra bedroom. :)
