No!!! You were doing so well!!!
He said the SECOND one Blunty. The first one was very cool and original. The 2nd one was an insult to movie making. And the idea of a second film in that franchise had so much promise too. I always thought they do a prequel period set piece about Elly Kedward and her witchin' days.

I agree about the prequel idea; that would have been good.

The original was one of the very few horror films that actually scared me.

I generally respect my son's reports on movies, although I know we have differences in what we like, so I account for them. He said about Blair Witch that it was 90-some minutes of his life that he'd never get back, and I read the Dave Barry entry that mentioned that they had strapped the camera onto the head of a hyperactive seal, so I never watched it.

Bobbie Jo and the Outlaw. Not even naked scenes by the Wonder Woman of the time could save it. We walked out about 20 minutes into the movie. In fact, I think that was the first movie we just flat gave up on as to stupid to continue watching.

Oh, while Billy Jack is a period piece that doesn't hold up, I still have fond memories of watching it then. But then we saw the little indy prequel to it, The Born Losers, that never really came out until after Billy Jack had its success. And for good reason. It was awful. And I don't mean yawn-awful. I mean death-of-the-moviewatching-soul awful.

Oh, yer right. The second one. I avoided that one due to hearsay which I figured trustworthy.

Ishtar from 1987 with D. Hoffman, Warren Beatty and Isabelle Adjani. Total failure.

Ayup! I just can't suspend my disbelief enough that one can go dancing and singing thru the Alps while Germans are chasing you, wanting to kill you and your family.....
But if you seen the movie they don't. The singing and dancing takes part in austria before Anschluss or when germany took over Austria. Afterwards they escaped as soon as possible. The escape is the ending.
