Talking loudly and swearing on your cell phone in public about very personal things going on in your life. I can't count how many times a day while working I would hear folks loudly discussing personal things or arguing with someone on their cell phone while shopping. Yo! The rest of us out there in the world don't want to hear about this crap!
Gum. I would just outlaw the existence of gum. Too many people chew it like cows and pop it. Sooooo not appealing.
Anyone that shows up to an appointment with me more than 10 minutes late has to reschedule. I won't run behind on all my other clients. For those who work in service by appointment...chronic lateness with absolutely no excuse, no apology, no reason, not even a muttered "Sorry" as they fly in the door. If your appointment time is at 9:45AM and you breeze in at 10:20, I'm going to be annoyed. You've effectively screwed up my entire day and put me behind. *I* was here at 9:45, why weren't you? What would YOU do if your day was packed solid and you made an appointment with me for a specified time and I showed up 30-45 minutes late without a reason or apology?
Anything that deals with narcissism or the attitude that screams "I'm the only person who has ever mattered, and ever will matter" immediately gets under my skin. You're not that important. You're not important to me, period. And your attitude doesn't make you look confident or empowered, it makes you look like a wang.
That is great policy.Anyone that shows up to an appointment with me more than 10 minutes late has to reschedule. I won't run behind on all my other clients.
Personally, as a client, I show up at least 15 minutes early (usually more) to any appointment. It's called Lombardi time.Anyone that shows up to an appointment with me more than 10 minutes late has to reschedule. I won't run behind on all my other clients.

I guess I'm alone in this, but I still feel a sense of responsibility to other human beings and their personal and professional time. I wouldn't want the people before me taking my time, and I won't do it to others. I am prompt and professional in appointments.
And, if for some reason I am delayed, I call to see how the professional wants to handle it. Reschedule me, or, we have some leeway to still keep the appointment.
This is also how I deal with lunch dates, pampered chef parties, birthday parties. I am on time. And if I'm not, everyone knows something is terribly wrong. Because I don't disrespect others in this way.
How about on the other end of the spectrum of the appointment deal? I show up for a doctor’s appointment, on time, and an hour later I’m still sitting there, waiting. Doctors feel they can charge you for the visit if you show up late and don’t get seen or don’t give them 24 hours notice of a cancellation. How about the doctor giving me a free visit coupon for the extra 1-2 hours I had to take out of my day because he/she didn't keep the appointment on time?
....agree muchly....I was raised that if a half hour early was good, three days early was better....Personally, as a client, I show up at least 15 minutes early (usually more) to any appointment. It's called Lombardi time.

....would be outstanding!....I'd never have to pay for health care again!....How about on the other end of the spectrum of the appointment deal? Not washing hands pretty much covers it.Eww so you can see people sitting o the toilet, or just wash their hands

Have you noticed how many restrooms now have trash cans located next to the exit doors? This is so you can use your paper towel to grab the handle of the door as you leave, so as not to expose your just washed hands to the germs of people who have just used the facility and DID NOT WASH their hands afterwards. I cannot tell you how many times I have witnessed this in the men's rooms. Not washing hands pretty much covers it.
