His death bothered me in the same way that Heath Ledger's and Phillip Seymour Hoffman's did.
Musically the band wasn't all that talented, but they churned out memorable melodies and Hutchence put his own spin on sexy.

A Boston based band from back in my Swiftpup days (circa 1985). Great song. Video shot along the banks of the river Charles. There's even some urban surfing!!

If you have younger kids you may recognize the lead singer. It's Dan Zanes. He's done a bunch of critically acclaimed children's albums.

I'm feeling in such a silly mood all of a sudden but I'm damn glad for it because this is a fun song.
My theme changes more frequently than I'd like but I'm not going to complain if it changes from a sad/heavy to a happy/silly feeling.

This video has all 4 of the original members. So sad they are all gone
I have to say that if it weren't for The Ramones I would never have picked up the guitar or tried writing my own songs. Hugely influence on me and all of the indie / alternative / grunge bands that came after them. Gabba Gabba Hey!
