The short version of a long story...When I was on here regularly I had my house flood and lost more or less everything - along with being out of the place for 5 months while I was fixed. Rental house, lack of computers..blah blah...but while that happened I decided to go and do more study, which I did, am doing - and have been super busy with since. Its holidays now, recently managed to squeeze in some reading (Mr Mercedes) and found myself back here to see how you guys found it. And of course remembered how much I like it here...Thanks for asking

Hey you guys, it's really good to be able to log and and say "hey". I've been missing you all terribly, it's like a physical thing to not be able to interact with you all as I normally do, I can't really explain why I haven't been able to be here... but will catch you up on things now that I am.
I was offered and have accepted a job this week! I will begin working part-time as a support person with an autistic girl after the school break ends. (July 25th) I'm very grateful to have found work, it was becoming quite depressing to be overlooked and the financial stress has been difficult.
My mum has had a lot of health issues over the past year, and I would just like to let the folks asking after her know that she is doing really well now. She has fully recovered from her heart surgeries and her wrist/arm surgery also. She is so much stronger!
I am so sorry to have missed so many things on the MB. Folks have been through some very sad and trying times. Please know that I was thinking of you even when I was absent.
Birthdays! I have missed so many.... (please accept my belated birthday wishes to all those I have missed)
Anyway... wishing you all a super-ly-freaking-ly good weekend, (oops, sorry... it's already Saturday here.) and much love. ♥
(P.S: Triple O... if you "Flake who" me even one more time--I'll sick Deej's goats onto you. Yes okay, they may be 'future goats' at this point... but don't you go thinking they ain't scary goats. They are. Very.)

Such terrible circumstances but such a positive post.
He wished us a Happy 4th on the 4th. No new posting here or on his blog. Good thoughts his way. Hope he's just busy and safe.
