Sorry we haven't been on much. First weekend in December, I flew back east to Virginia. My oldest son ended up with shingles and I went back to help him out. Well, I went from Friday came back to AZ on Monday. Went to work that Tuesday and was forced to resign, no disciplinary action, no commentary, no rebuttal, no anything ... same thing happened to my boss, he got the axe first .... so, three weeks before Christmas ... I have no work. The fun never ends. Then I had respiratory illness that took a month to get over, then poor Teddy got it.... he faired better than I did. Teddy is still fighting with lawyers for his disability ... I am still looking for work ... so after losing his Mom, we go into this mess .... goodbye 2014 ... too bittersweet for us .... our honeymoon with our SK friends, then being with his folks was the highlight of our year !! I wear my pumpkin orange tee shirt to bed and smile at all the signatures !! We wish everyone a wonderful New Year .... full of peace and good health ! I do get on FB, please come by and say hi ... I get to see my kids there...

Don't give up - we are praying for you - I wear my orange tee shirt too and it always makes me feel better - makes a great nightshirt!

You unfriended me a long time ago on FB, at the time... it hurt--but I gradually understood that it meant nothing to the friendship that we had formed over a great number of years... and I 'got it'.

I fully understand what you're saying here, I've just got back from a week away from the board--call it a 'spirit regroup'... so yar, I really do understand. Sometimes I do wonder if vast numbers of human beings were actually meant to be able to communicate so easily... at such a great rate, because when we take on these huge amounts of often highly emotive and passion-driven information, (think constant News streams) you've got to wonder at how we're able to process all of that each day... and to what changes has it brought forth in our basic make up?
I don't believe that people have the same ability to just 'turn off' as we did say even... ten years ago.

Having said all of that, without the choice/and opportunity of contact--I feel like I would be lost... I was lost, when I first took hesitant Internet Steps all those years ago.

Balance... probably the hardest thing to achieve, but I think, Dear Char... I think that maybe you have/or are finding this.

I do love you girl... and will always want to hear from you, and know that you are happy and well. xox

Sorry to hear about the meanness out there - it is too easy to be rotten and mean when you do not see someone face to face. It is an awful epidemic.

Dear Madam,
I do understand. I do not do facebook, or twitter and avoid almost all social media. I avoid many forum on this MB. The SKMB is like a second family to me- but a place were I can chose those I desire to stay in contact with, and how often. It still amazes me to "converse" with international friends on a daily base in almost real-time. The world did move on. Uncle Steve got that right.

Remember always that "Pooh just is". You are and always will be in my daily thoughts and prayers. Do what your heart tells you, hear it well. Be true to you. Post those magnificent pictures when you can- they are always uplifting to me. I hold you close, Madam and you know well what I mean when I say---- I send you Love and Green lights!!

Charlotte, I am so glad you will still do our Oscar night. That is a fun and silly and serious and interesting tradition that we've done for YEARS. I do understand your feelings. You have always been a more sensitive soul, and I hate the mean or hurt that you feel. It's yucky. And scary. And I don't understand it. I just don't understand why people have to fall into that. But they do.

I love your pictures and glad you will continue to do those. You always open my world to so many creative and spiritual things through the photos, without speaking a word.

Please do stay in touch so we know you are okay. Do a walkabout and come back when you can, when you want to. The door is always open for you.
