In order to solve a puzzle, whether or not to use the internet to investigate, for instance, the movies a given actor is in is up to a given player's conscience. I know of one other player who has objected to investigating for personal reasons. For you and that player, skimom, it would be cheating. For me, I can't play the game at all without that investigative option since I'm not familiar enough with enough movies to bother coming to the thread for the rare event when someone has happened to choose an image which I happen to recognize from a movie I will've happened to have seen.
