Hola!

Just that. What are some differences between women and men? Did the thread title kinda throw you off? Did it seem... awkward? When I just posted "women and men" did it catch you off kilter? Odd?

Some would want to correct me and say The thread title should read "Men and Women. The Differences".

*We* are used to having Men mentioned before Women...in all sorts of manner.

I dislike it.

(If anyone can figure out what the he!! I'm trying to say: Do it!)

Peace.

There's no difference between women and men except different anatomy. This idea that women are supposed to be more sensitive than men is rubbish. Women like men who don't have any hangups. Men marry women that remind them of their mothers. Some women marry men who remind them of their father, that is not as common as men marrying women.

Before we head off into all sorts of (possibly) different directions, it might be a good time to remind folks that this is a family-friendly website.
(Recently the moderators have had to delete some inappropriate content, (images mainly) so please keep that in mind while you discuss the differences...)

Not to sidetrack your thread (by any means) but it seems now that there is more than just the two genders to consider :umm:

What I'm slowly getting used to is that some places e.g. Tim Hortons, have nongender specific washrooms.

In a way it's actually an advantage e.g. there is a walking track upstairs where I work and two washrooms.

If the women's washroom is busy I would see a woman go into the men's (it is just one toilet, with a door lock etc.) This happened a couple of times.

So I tried it one day - I just boldly went in there and I was surprised at the cleanliness - I thought is was actually nicer than the women's and just as clean!

The hard part was departing the room, especially since there was a special needs guy from the Volunteer Department waiting to get in. I just vamoosed and didn't give him time to ask any questions. :welcoming::wink-new:

Not too sure about all that, but you're welcome to your opinion. I have found that many of the [much] younger generation of men seem more effeminate.

Now I am not saying I want a macho man to sweep me off my feet or drag me to his cave by my hair, but now that I am older I do see a difference.

It also depends on how you were raised. My friend from Kosovo comes from an isolated mountainous area of his country. I have never met such a masculine man as he is. Yet his son is quite different (however his son has been in Canada since he was about nine).

Sometimes I feel more like a guy than a girl. I am definitely female but I have a different way of looking at things than many women. Perhaps spending 20 years in the military with men has something to do with that - hard to say.

Some men are more high maintenance than others. I call these men metrosexual.

Yes. Definitely. One of my best friends is this guy. $200.00 sunglasses, only wears skinny jeans...usually with some sort of bedazzled buttons on the back pockets, and he usually gets his hair cut once a week. A great guy, spooky smart, but could spend more time clothes shopping than any female I've ever known..lol We made it.....difficult for him where I used to work...he's now a mayor of a small town near where I live. Every time I see him on the news I want to crack up. I usually text him and tell him it looked like a hair was out of place or that I saw a few gray hairs when he was on the news. this drives him absolutely ape sh!T.
