Yes, Ma'am. Nostalgia. Thank you.

Was it this one?

Yay! I LIKE it!

Peace.

That's the one, honey. So much fun, that movie.

My youngest daughter loved the Enchanted soundtrack, but mostly she liked saying "NEVER" in the wicked queen voice every time I told her to do something. She's a peach.

Susan Sarandon just gets more gorgeous, doesn't she?

Sarandon is gorgeous! I always thought that she could play Bette Davis in a bio-pic or something- she's got almost the same eyes and facial shape as Davis did!

I still have the VHS too! Forgot about the "artwork" scandal! ;-D

My daughter turned 28 this year but this is still her favorite. She loves that movie and played it over and over back in the day. ;-D I'm going to have to give her the VHS one of these days--it's actually probably a collector's item as it has the infamous artwork. ;)

Hi!

Sorry. I missed it. What infamous/scandal artwork???

Thank you!

Peace.

(It was The Little Mermaid)

We didn't discuss the actual artwork so think that's what Siggy is asking. Here's a link to Snopes that discusses it and in which the artist claims the phallus likeness was unintended.

We have that VHS cassette and box too. I just wonder if it's like the monuments in Markawasi - our mind is always trying to pick out a shape or face that we can name. Sigmund gave me a name for it in Random Thoughts.

It beings with a "p" but will have to do a search as I have a mental block when it comes to remembering the word itself. Personally I think the guy is doing a CYA because I don't see how he can think that didn't look like a penis no matter how late he drew it! ;-D

Boy, lots of "Frozen" backlash out there! I guess once something gets so popular we all start to get a little sick of it. My girls love the songs from Frozen and have the soundtrack, but they will sing just about any song they hear over and over, so it's no different to me.

For me growing up, it had to be "Pure Imagination" by Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka. For me, Willy Wonka wasn't just a character, he was a role model! God, I so envied him and his fantastical life. He rejected the world, made his own world and lived in it--who can't identify with that sometimes?
