I purchased my copy of BoBD at B&N yesterday as well. What do you do about the stickers on the front of SK's books from B&N?
Mine came right off with no fuss. But, that said, with this type of finish on the dustjackets (matte?) they should NOT put stickers on it as they will stick and be a pain to get off.

I always have that problem with Dan Simmons hardcovers.
I have found that if you lay the book down somewhere where it will get warm (in the sun shining thru a window or on a furnace vent on the floor or propped up against a vent on the wall) it will soften the adhesive enough so that you can peel it back. Now here's a real secret that I'm going to share with you- you can use a piece of Scotch tape (Scotch tape works the best!) held between your thumb and forefinger knuckle (make a fist with the top of your thumb showing upwards) with the sticky edge facing down and you can just press it over any of the residue and it should come off. You might have to use a couple of pieces of tape to get it all but it will come off.

You can't order from their website without Windows 10??!
When I tried a couple of weeks ago I got all the way thru the ordering process fine until the last page where they want your credit card info. Then a page popped up and said I couldn't continue with my order because their website doesn't support Internet Explorer version 9 or any earlier ones.

I picked up Bazaar of Bad Dreams the day it came out. My wife said she wanted to hold off reading it and I should put it away to give her as a Christmas present. I said “What bullsh!t are you spreading... You won’t last a week!” She started reading it last night.
Now hopefully she doesn't read it reeeeeeally slowly and not finish it until Christmas just to pay you back and make you wait to read it. ;)

LOL. Since the spine in now broken, and it’s comprised of short stories, I can sneak it away on occasion and read some of them at single sittings. I just have to remember to not disturb the bookmark and give my evil scheme away. :)

I got my copy yesterday. I thought the cover was neat, just the picture we had of it, but it does pack a punch on the actual book. Much better looking on the actual book. And, like has been mentioned, loooove the texture of it. Pretty cool.

I read up to The Dune yesterday. Had read Mile 81 on my kindle before, but reread it yesterday. I bought the magazine The Dune is in, but never read it, so it will be new to me. I know we had the list of stories beforehand, but I didn't remember seeing Drunken Fireworks there so was completely tickled to see it included! I absolutely adored the audio of that, that is one great story.:thumbs_up::thumbs_up:

cat in a bag I've been reading the stories in order, but last night needed something special so turned to Drunken Fireworks. The audio was so special with the Maine accent and I actually found my inner voice reading it with a Maine accent.
