The cards depict characters from the book. This was the first (and only so far) time this was done for an SK book. The cards are about three inches long by 1 1/2 inches wide. The illustrations were lovingly done by the artist. Can someone explain to me about trading cards with books? I've never heard of them. Is it common that they come
with SK books or do you buy them separately? Also are the cards like the ones we bought as kids that were baseball
or a Rock group?
I know lots of questions and its early in the morning....

Didn't the Cemetery Dance edition of Blockade Billy have a baseball-style trading card with Steve on it?The cards depict characters from the book. I suggest a strongly written letter to the publisher.Yeah, I think that Ben Vincent character deserved a card...
Yeppers! I didn't really use Blockade Billy as an example because it's not an 'illustrated' card, it's an actual photo.Didn't the Cemetery Dance edition of Blockade Billy have a baseball-style trading card with Steve on it?

It's a very nice and lavishly made book but it is so tiny. Smallest King limited out there. This is a beautiful thing to behold!

I've only seen pics of the Lieutenant and those had nothing in them to gauge the size. Sure wish I had had the opportunity to go thru those trash bins after that party tho as the rumor is that quite a few ended up there......I think the smallest King limited would be The New Lieutenant's Rap. It's a small chapbook in paper wraps. Blockade Billy is, however, the smallest hardcover limited.
