Decisions. Decisions. There are way too many SK books on eBay that I seriously must have! Also a lot that I am missing from my collection! Though I seriously want to get a decent copy of Gunslinger (fine with settling for 2nd Edition considering the price of even that one) I am also really interested in getting a copy of Dolan's Cadillac cause that was numbered limited and signed (not sure if it was facsimile signature or legit though). But for the price of either of those I could actually get 2 or 3...even 4 of the other titles I am missing. Very tough decisions in deed.

Oh...forgot to mention. Finally got me a copy of Sisters of Eluria! Whoo hoo!

The signatures for Dolan's were indeed legit. I owned copy #13 until I sold it on ebay years ago. Wish I hadn't of done that but needed some money......

Dolan's has been at top of my list for a long time. Most recently I have constantly watching out for deals on any of the Grant DT series. Specifically the artist editions of V and VI as well as Gunslinger. I am definitely not opposed to getting a 2nd edition or even 3rd edition. Mainly I am wanting to replace my entire DT series with the best Grant versions I can get now that I have the artist editions of VII, SoE and WttK.

I suppose this is somewhat SK related. Just received a copy of Smoke and Mirrors from CD today! I had forgotten that they sent me an offer to pick a free book. What a great book I chose. Screenplays, Stageplays, Teleplays, Comic book scripts! And the guest list on this thing is fantastic. Quite possibly one of the best reference books I have ever seen. And massive book indeed! Thank You very much to everyone at CD for such a great gift!

There were actually two versions of Dolan's Cadillac produced--the 1,000 numbered edition and a deluxe 250 numbered copy edition. Both were signed. I have #739 of the 1,000 edition and #246 of the 250 one.

Whoah! You have two of them! Congrats!

If ever you run out of shelf space or feel like your shelves can't bare the weight of those books anymore...and you need a new home for that #739...I think I can squeeze it in over here...it'll be a very tight squeeze. But I think I could manage it. And besides...I wouldn't feel right if I didn't look out for you. Wouldn't want the weight of those shelves to get too heavy. Could be a chain reaction that leads to several books tumbling onto your foot. And then you would be thinking "Man, if only I had gotten rid of that second copy of Dolan's Cadillac."

I really appreciate your concern for my welfare! I also have both proofs of Dolan's Cadillac. I'll certainly keep you in mind if I get worried about overloading my shelves. :tongue-new:
