U probably know this but if not check the buy, sell thread. Better than ebay bc the item description is a lot better buying from here . I had 2 and 4 I sold on ebay. Much rather of sold them to u. Next time put a wanted list. Also if u have doubles ur looking to sell I would b interestedI have spent years looking at every garage sale, yard sale, library book sale racks and thrift store for the first four hard cover editions of the dark tower series. Outside of those four books I have a copy(s)of every hardcover and softcover book S.K. has written. For Christmas my daughter bought me a hardcover first edition copy of The Wastelands, I was so pleased to receive it!! Then one day I guess I decided WTF I'm done with the holy grail of all searches and got on ebay and bought the other three hardcover editions, I bought The Gunslinger (not a first edition), I bought The Drawing of the Three (first edition), and I bought Wizard and Glass (first edition), and then I told my man....who has diligently helped me search over the years....now I bet I see those copies I needed all along right away, what I didn't tell Brad was if I do see copies of those books, I will buy them too lol!!
The only reason I can think of as to why the prices for the 'gift' edition of Desperation are so low is because Grant printed so many of them and after the collectors got their copies the rest have just kind of sat around gathering dust. Which is sad because it really is a gorgeous book! I liked the dustjacket so much I bought one for the signed/numbered edition as it was released without a dj, which I thought was strange......Just got Limited edition of Desperation by Grant. Maybe the best dust cover ever. That might be a cool thread on ranking top 5 dust jackets. Absolutely gorgeous. Got this in slipcase sealed in shrinkwrap for 50 but bucks. Can't beat it for an LE. Not sure why do low. Doesn't really matter to me bc I'm not going to sell it if it goes up to 250 or something, just wondering if anyone knows why so cheap. By looking at this and the quality of the book I would have guessed 180 to 220 range. Any info 0lease leave comments. I will leave a picture by tomorrow.
, I checked, they made 4000. Seems like over 1 million readers 4k would sell. The only reason I can think of as to why the prices for the 'gift' edition of Desperation are so low is because Grant printed so many of them and after the collectors got their copies the rest have just kind of sat around gathering dust.
