Iddint it, doe? I keep meaning to go check out some of SF's many thrift stores (before I eventually move back East.) I collect dolls, too. I've found some rare/unique/exciting gems, and the thrift stores have infinitely more book shelves than toy aisles.
When you are checking through the thrift store books of your favorite authors don't forget to look inside and see if any of them are signed. I'm always amazed at how many signed books I find when I'm out 'thrifting'! I have found three autographed King books in my years of thrifting (one was a beautiful 1st hardback of Insomnia that I found at a small town north of Seattle and always wondered how it came to be there) and lots of other authors- Amy Tan, James Patterson, JA Jance, Dan Simmons, Tabitha King, John Dunning to name a few. I was in the Seattle area last week and came home with two signed Larry McMurtry books and another by Robin Cook.

Where did you find this, Scott?

A member over at The Dark Tower created this rebound edition and is also friends with the artist. There is currently one being auctioned off for the Haven Foundation on Ebay. Item #201683208457

You can also check out the process here: DragonRebound.com[/QUOTE]

The process is just interesting info. Thanks for sharing

I picked up these three at a second hand store for $3.00. Also picked up Cell on Blu-Ray.

I went to a used book sale today organised by the Rotary Club in my area and found SK's book . A memoir of craft ON WRITING. I paid only $3.00 almost brand new. My cat seems to like it. She wanted to lay on it for a while.

Yeesh, why do cats do that? Never had a cat who didn't wanna stretch out on my open book as if it were their personal sleeping mat.
