Latest King purchase was The Dark Tower in trade paperback. Before that, it was the first six books in the series, at the rate of one or two a month this year. I'd read them back in 2005 when I was stationed overseas, buying them all at the PX in small paperback form, but I gave them away before I came back to the States. Only so much weight allowed in my luggage, y'know. So I'm glad to have my series intact again at last.

I dunno if this counts as a King-related purchase, but for some unfathomable reason I ordered these from EBay: 6 tiny (dollhouse-size) replicas of King novels. They came today, each about the size of my thumbnail. I have no idea why I wanted them, and no idea why they crack me up every time I look at them...but I did and they do, so I'm happy with them!

And then there were two. Didn't notice until now, but ine has yellow eyes and one blue. Ince i get the FYE with the blood and teeth, that ought to be just about perfect.
You'll also notice there are no highlights in the hair, the nose is larger and the grey costume is a slightly different color.

LOL...now I have to order the tiny bookshelf. And some more tiny books.

I feel an obsession coming on... :icon_eek:
...in all seriousness, since I collect action figures.....the scale of those books would work well with the King figure released from The Simpsons.....

well i will now lol. although those might be more aesthetic differences vs the deeper meaning behind his eye color (not that i necessarily think funko was thinking of that deeper meaning, but it's neat anyway)
In the movie the blue eye color is when he's being 'nice' and the yellow is when he's ready to kill.

I'll leave this one for Scott.....=D

Oh, dear. We'll, I've made worse gaffs. Like the time I walked into an office of enlisted Marines, brandished my dead cell phone, and asked them to turn me on. (Worse, the one guy who didn't get why the others were stifling laughter took my phone, examined it briefly, and said, "Sorry ma'am, I don't know how." Of course, they all lost it then.)

I could tell you, "Oh, grow up," but I already know how any King fan would respond:

I don't grow up, I throw up,
And when I look at you, I :barf:

Seriously...I really would like to know the height of the Stephen King/Simpsons action figure. And how much a Stephen King/Simpsons action figure might cost. And where I can purchase a Stephen King/Simpsons action figure. :0:

Never mind, I see someone just answered this.
