I have a 2001 Escort ZX2 (it's the street racer version) that I call the Red Beast (Hey, Grandpa! I see you use the same moniker) and a 2011 Focus with all the bells and whistles:

I love driving the Beast as she's a manual and I like having control over my car, not the other way around.....The blue Focus is for driving on long trips. I got the average MPG up to 33.6 now!! In town it just sucks up the gas like crazy! Darn automatics anyway!

Little Red Beast. Not on this computer. I'll post a picture later.

Here we go.

GMC dumped Saturn when they had to lean up their offerings as part of the bailout, and Saturn, although profitable, didn't fit into their conservative view of a car company.

Big mistake. They had a nice, affordable, and reliable line of cars for a world that was pivoting that way. And now I'll shut up.

We got this one to replace our other Outback that we had worn completely out. Had almost 200,000 miles on it. This one is about to hit 100,000! =D

The 'vertible is for short, sunny trips!:cool2:

My Subaru has about 190K miles on it & is going strong :) I've heard that it's not unheard of for Foresters to go over 300K--wouldn't that be great? This is my favorite car I've ever owned.

Two 2003 vehicles: a green Dodge RAM 1500 pickup and a used-to-be-black Chevy Cavalier. The Cav I bought new, the truck used. I'd had small pickups, Chevy S10s, for a very long time, but when I decided I needed another small to midsize truck, for hauling lumber and other landscaping/gardening stuff, they weren't making any. I had no choice but to start driving a much larger truck. It took a long time to get used to the difference. I was fairly uncomfortable, actually.

An older picture of my girl Ginger. A shot of under her hood as well. She's a 2012 Inferno Orange Metallic Camaro 2SS. 6.2L V8,400+ HP, 6 speed w/Hurst shifter. She can get up and move :)

She's been slightly modded. I have installed a strut tower brace, skip-shift eliminator and American Racing Torque Thrust rims (machined lip with black spokes) for her summer shoes. I recently had the factory rally stripes taken off and glossy black rally stripes painted on. She's due for a full detail in a few weeks. I'll post more pix of her with her new rims and stripes then.

Not mine, but I did get to do 4 laps around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in this drool worthy Ferrari F430 F1.

Ain't it fun? I got to do a little field trip one time, driving a NASCAR car around a track. I can't remember how long it went, but it was a number of laps. The mechanic sat on the right side and gave the instructions. We suited up in the jumpsuits, wore helmets and gloves, had to slide through the window to get in and out. Mechanic said I was going about 155 down the back stretch. It was so much fun. It cost a little bit to do it. Worth every penny.

When the next group came up, I had to take a picture of the car I'd been in.

Not a Ferrari. I'd love to do laps in a Ferrari.

It was fun, but very quick. Was just getting the feel of the car when my laps were up :(

I bet the NASCAR was a blast as well.
