I drive a company provided, 2009 Ford Escape. I'm just creeping up on 400,000 kms; and I was just over at the mechanics next door, when I mentioned that I had achieved that same on two previous vehicles. Then he said that's over 1 MILLION KMS. I suddenly felt really tired as I tried to wrap my head around the number. My brain has never done that particular calculation, probably as a precaution against mental breakdown.

I think my older brother had a Mustang too! (I remember him driving it up and down the driveway in the 60s)
It was a picture of a metal kiddy car that you operate with pedals. I used to drive it up and down the driveway too!

Me, beige Honda Pilot, close to 130,000 miles on mine, thats older than dirt but paid off. Hubby Honda Ridgeline, 23,000 miles on his, 2006 also paid off. We have had really good luck with Honda vehicles.

"PAID OFF." Two of the loveliest words in the world. :) I never want to have a car payment again--if I can't pay for it outright, I don't need it.
