Every night I eat in one particular place in this hotel for "happy hour" because it's included in the room price. Every night I position myself to be as far away from the speakers as I can. They have about four or five songs on heavy rotation.
By the time I've left, I've heard Train "Angel in Blue Jeans" and Kelly Rowland "Down for Whatever" about 12 times. Every stinkin' night. It's a good thing I have the "consciousness turned off" superpower. Mostly.

went to a local food festival yesterday. today, it's pool day.

Please understand that all these songs I'm quoting, I don't actually know. Lyrics got imprinted on the brain, and I looked them up when I got back to the room.
Taking daughter #3 back to college. Stopped to get something to eat. Waiting on the food. Why does the younger generation need to live with cellphone earbuds permanently attached? Whatever happened to the art of conversation?
Have you talked to people lately? Trust me, sometimes silence is better.
lol. At this point I'd rather listen to talk of 3 dimensional calculus (which is Greek to me) than the boring silence.
Met with a financial planner yesterday. Since I've always been self employed, I have no retirement account. I liked her. She assured me that it's never too late to start an IRA, and no amount is too small. She explained all my options to me in words that I understand.
I'm looking forward to taking this step.......it's hard to believe that 7 years ago I was starting my life over with no checking account, no real money of my own, and my house was in desperate need of major repairs. It's taken 7 years of hard work, but I have a great job, steady income, a new roof, a new heating/AC system, new windows, a semi new car, and starting an IRA. .....and I'm only in debt for the car. I'm truly living a blessed life ♥

Been searching the library to see if they have the original IT mini series. What they have is an absolutely horrible search engine. But it appears, not the video(s) I want.
