Pineapple on pizza: yea or nay?

(personally I love pineapple and I'd put it on anything that has to go in my mouth if I could help it)
I used to love Hawaiian pizza! When I stopped eating meat, I ordered mushroom and pineapple instead. For the past few years mushrooms have grossed me out, so haven't had pineapple on my pizza for a long time. :(

Yea. I try to switch it up when I order pizza. Lately, I've been jonesing for a Pizza Hut Pan Pizza with Italian sausage, onion, and bell pepper.
Pizza Hut was running a special - 2 medium pizzas, any crust, any toppings for $6.99 each (I think - it was a while back). If they are still doing this, or when they do again, need to find some sharers. A Veggie Lovers pan pizza sounds pretty awesome right about now! =D

At the risk of sounding like an old codger, I remember the "Flood of the Century" back in 1997 - Winnipeg had a Floodway (nicknamed Duff's Ditch after the guy who advocated for it way back when);

Grand Forks, North Dakota just south of us, did not have such a thing.

Interesting video staropeace :smile2:

I went to college in Grand Forks. Remember watching videos of the flood and it just seemed so surreal.

Must have been hard to watch - where were you in '97?

- I was still in the military and had to work in the Command Post at Base Ops (17 Wing Winnipeg) - we did 12 hour shifts until the flood was under control.
