That was just low hanging fruit.
I'm going grocery shopping today. For regular groceries plus Christmas dinner stuff. Bought the ham already.
Last gift is supposed to be here today, so will wrap it and get it under the tree.
And I'll cook tonight's supper early, night shift time again.
So I have a fairly busy day ahead, won't get to be here much! Merry, Merry Christmas to you all!

Today we are supposed to go out and find a real tree to put up.
Yes, I know - Andy has been home since Monday the 18th and by now we should have had one already bought.
He is spending a lot of time sleeping (trying to catch up on his rest).
Up North he works seven days a week, for months at a time, making breakfast, lunch and supper, so I guess he does deserve a break.
Went to Superstore near our house but the trees are apparently sold out.
Might have to go a Google search to see if there are any left in town at all!
(Just found out there are about four left over on St. Anne's Road! Off to pick one up - guess I'll do it by myself, since Andy is still in bed).

Currently waiting at the vet to pay the blackmail, um I mean “deposit” for the tests Shadow Punk Cat needs. He’s been doing his cat business in inappropriate places the last few weeks. Need to make sure it’s not a medical issue or if it’s behavioral (as I suspect). Naturally, they decided to do a server upgrade so all their PCs are down. I’m stuck here waiting with a roomful of people who can’t check out. Joy to the world......
I have a family gift exchange at SwiftMom’s later this afternoon. I am now currently running behind on things I need to do to be ready for that because of incompetence at the Vet office.

No Assembling today, but i spend a "wonderfull" Afternoon at Ikea.
She bought a Cristmas Tree, spontaneous and had no Christmas TreeStand.
She put the tree into a Vase
So i said, "lets go and buy a tree stand"
"Yuhu, great, lets drive to Ikea"
The next Hour we spent at the Swedish Wonderland and the only Words i heard were:
Oh, Uh, Have you... Look at....., iiiisn`t thaaaat cuuuuute ?
My only Wish was that someone drops a Piano on me or at least Jack Daniels intravenous.
But, we made it through the day and we decided to spend Christmas Eve together.
She`ll bring on the Drinks, i have to cook.

Behavioral-- you being away often, Brody not being around-- changes due to Holidays?? Change in diet/litter brand? Glad you are ck that it is not medical issue, but sounds like Shadow Punk just misses you.
You know what they say, if a kid just wants attention and if the good ain't working, bad always does.
