Andy is on his way back to the Far North - we had a very nice visit this time around and I will miss him.Yap, thats Humphrey.

So now it is back to normal again - just me and my son here. Maybe I can drop a couple of pounds by cutting back and being more active (now that I don't have a chef tempting me with delicious food!)

Miss Sage is sick at home today and RJ is at home today too, so unexpected day off for me. Cleaned up my mess in the kitchen from the dinner last night and have just been reading. Thanks everyone, for the birthday wishes for Evan!

She is back today, feeling better and no fever for about 16 hrs.
Has a runny nose and a little cough but at least the fever is gone!

Glad to hear it - there has been a lot of flu around here and the hospitals had to reschedule surgeries. I had a bout of "stomach flu" over the holidays but I guess that is not really flu ????She is back today, feeling better and no fever for about 16 hrs.
...it has come into the common vernacular to be identified as that, but it's really gastroenteritis....
A few schools closed around here the last couple of weeks due to flu. The last count at my son's school was 58 kids absent and 14 teachers....
Hello SKMB, I'm back. Been gone awhile. I've been reminiscing about the good old days when I gathered bookmarks for Sai King's birthday from members around the globe and shipped them into an ugly brown trunk to Ms Mod. Good Times. Lovely to see so many regulars and new names too.
