I've been looking up some scientific stuff Stephen King wrote in the short story 'Word Processor of the Gods', namely whether a kid in New Mexico discovered tachyons in 1954. And another kid who made an 'atom smasher' out of two soup cans and some electrical equipment. Both 'Word Processor of the Gods' and 'The Jaunt' are brilliant short stories. I find 'The Jaunt' more scary, even though it seems slightly more comedic, because of what King says about 'Eternity'.

Was going to get ready for an out of town trip but the only trips I made were to a medical clinic and hospital for abdominal CT scans. This time they found kidney stones, which they missed when I had the first attack back in November.
