I read all of this after the MB had closed down on Friday......twice. Now, I can't bring myself to poke you with the stick.
Even if it is just good intentions at the moment, you're a good man, DiO. I hope everything works out well.
Thanks. Our daughter in college, who still lives at home, is on board with the idea. Didn't get to communicate with the mother over the weekend because the demons seemingly still have a hard hold.

I've been working arranging the planters, and designing a new garden area....on the bank where the kids tried to sled.
I have a cluster of old barrels cut in half, and clay pots stacked haphazardly on rebar stakes, kinda making a flower tower.
It's too early to actually plant anything, but the design and set up is complete. I'm thinking of putting sunflowers behind the pots, and planting hostas in front.

Sounds like it will look nice but be aware hosta is toxic to dogs.

That's good information......I didn't know hosta was poisonous to dogs. Deer love the stuff.
The hostas will be planted on the side of the house where the dog isn't allowed. When she's outside, we keep her tied on a 30ft lead because she's crazy, and we can't catch her if she's loose. All the neighbors keep their dogs on leashes when walking them and keep them fenced in their own yards otherwise, so all should be safe.

My Baby Girl, Pawline, had to go to the vet today because she's sick. She has a virus that may be turning into Pneumonia so they've put her on antibiotics and a wet food diet (she was refusing her kibble) along with a recommendation that I give her steam saunas and pat her sides to loosen up the junk in her lungs. I sure hope she recovers quickly. It's so sad and scary to hear her little lungs rattling away.
