I could post a pic of me in front of the famous King house but I don't think I will bother. Moderator - sorry I said something silly like "I thought it would be bigger" or something like that [ummm - please no TWSS!]
I was surprised to read about the recovered wood

OK but you are making it very difficult...

And thanks for the pics...

Living vicariously is better than nothing...

Maybe later I’ll post a pic of me and Nomik in front of the house. Right now I’m out and about, busy with doctor appointment and shopping. Doc kept me waiting one and a half hours and I’m just using my portable device at the moment.

Maybe some day you can go to a King Kon!

It would be fun to meet up with all of us crazy King fans :friendly_wink::thumbs_up::star:

Well...

NC is right in the middle of the East coast...

Just saying...

Seriously would love to meet all of y'all...

Seem like a good bunch of slightly not quite right folks...

Would be just like one of my family reunions...:a11:

The first day - Robert Gray and his wife Rachael took us there so we could have some brunch - they have really good food!

Later in the weekend we watched Maximum Overdrive at the house (big screen) and I enjoyed it - it's a B movie but not bad overall.
Great pic, Neesy.
Hey, where the heck is this? I asked three separate people at the Bangor Rite Aid to help me find Dysart’s and no one could give me a straight answer. Ha.
Next time I will make a point to go there and to Stephen King's house. I also want to eat at the Jade Orient and Salty Dog's.
I'm getting a better sense of how your fun adventure unfolded and the chronology as it stacks up to other Kon uploads. Thanks for sharing them.

If you had a hard time finding the SK house I think it is because he is on Broadway West (or something like that). John aka Robert Gray was the ultimate tour guide.

Speaking of tour guides here is one of the vans owned by Stu Tinker who does SK Tours out of Bangor:

Stu lives just down the hill from the Standpipe.

This Dysart's is way out in Hermon (probably why clerks in Bangor weren't sure).

Thanks. I still had fun driving around Bangor and I drove to Orono (you know Pet Sematary is my favorite book and this location plays a big role in it) and I even drove through Ellsworth looking for the Creed house in the movie. It is my own fault for not using GPS.
