Oh my goodness! Everyone here is so talented!!!! So many different types of crafts, too. I've been a bit lazy with my crafting, so seeing what everyone is making is giving me some inspiration. The last thing I made was a miniature bookshop from a kit. It was my first time making a miniature and I found it really fun! I also discovered the enormous world of miniatures on Pintrest.
I think I will try to get back in to my cross stitch this weekend. It's one of the bigger pieces that an incredibly thoughtful colleague gave me after learning I cross stitch. After seeing AnnaMarie's extraordinary work I feel motivated to jump back in!

Thank you for the really kind words! The kit was surprisingly easy. It looks intimidating because everything comes in a very small, flat box, but really it's mostly just time/patience. I kind of sped through this one, but the next one I do I am going to try to space out and use as an activity to de-stress before bed. There's something really calming about the cutting/gluing of so many little pieced. Plus, I finished an entire audiobook while making the bookshop. So, two for one!

Those shoes are absolutely the COOLEST! What a lucky niece! I kind of want a pair in black with a cat design for the days when I have to be an "adult professional" and teach. I feel like my students would be totally in to it. And Teri Greeves' work is breathtaking! Thanks for sharing that link, I wasn't familiar with the artist before.
She is a true artist, her work just fascinates me and the patience and dedication to her work is admirable.
