They will probably ask you if you already have a vet? I was thinking of becoming a foster parent for rescue pugs and noticed that on their website (plus they will ask if they can contact your vet).We're having our home visit for the puppy we're rescuing today. I'm so nervous and excited. We went on a shopping spree for puppy supplies last night so we're prepared to demonstrate that we're basically the best home any puppy could hope for.
Yep! We already gave them all of that info when we filled out the adoption application.They will probably ask you if you already have a vet? I was thinking of becoming a foster parent for rescue pugs and noticed that on their website (plus they will ask if they can contact your vet).
Is that like around 102 F?What am I going to do today? One shelf of the bookcase left to do -- it looks like a before AND after shot right now. Then its time to tackle the desk.
And it is 39deg at Noon.

I know I was just kidding you, I meant no offense So Sorry, if you did take offense to it. I have a warped sense of humour that comes from working in the Police Department (maybe too long).

Josh and I just finished picking up apples from the front yard - the whole lawn was just covered with them! Had a noisy crow scolding us from a nearby tree and then a pair of blue jays landed in the tree and one dropped a half eaten apple down on me (think he was aiming for my head!)
We took them all out back and filled up our two black plastic composters - they were so full we barely got the lids back on them.
So now when Josh cuts the grass tomorrow he won't have to make apple sauce and/or risk injuring a passerby on the sidewalk
I was thinking about this - it's too bad they don't have some sort of invention you could put under the tree to catch the fruit before it hits the ground (something like a giant fitted sheet only you somehow attach it to the branches).You can come pick up our plums next. We never get to eat any because the darn birds and squirrels knock them off the branches before they ever get a chance to ripen. Next year, I think I need to hang a bunch of those foil things that scare birds away on the tree.

These aren't good eating applies but could probably be used for apple butter or maybe some sort of apple baking (apple cake maybe?) {They are way past their prime now unfortunately}
Don't plums turn into prunes? If you could collect them, at least you'd be regular!
Interesting - I know out by where Alexandra M lives they have a lot of apple orchards. Maybe she knows something about it?They use this to collect olives
