I was on here earlier( Hamilton Library) then I went and had five beers at the Kent Hotel in Hamilton ( three Cooper's Green and two Budweiser) and now I know God is angry at me. I supposed to do stuff. Mea Culpa. Poor King. I think KIng did stuff too. My father( a Merchant Seaman, who got kicked out of America for being illegal but now it's alright to be illegal in America even though he was a good guy) my father didn't have anything against America but he loved Australia for letting him in. He had to do two years repairing train lines in outback Queensland from 1954-56 like all new Australians had too. I read my father's diary from 1970 and he said "Mea Culpa" because he got drunk.

View attachment 28234Working on Christmas crafts. Got a few I need to get done. Clearing out the garage a bit. It seems to be a catch all.

Happy Friday - so far I've cooked some sausages and made a vegetable soup - now I'm eating cauliflower (I love cauliflower) - Good luck with your garage!

Hmmm - my gif is still not working - it keeps saving the image as a .png file extension :O_O::hmm:

Had a meeting today with a client and went to a nearby mall for lunch afterwards. Lo and behold, I passed a store (it was closed so I couldn't go in) that actually sold comic books! I haven't seen a store in my country that sells actual comic books in maybe 20 years or so.

I stood there there like an idiot fighting back the tears of my inner-child. :a11:

Working. Raining (maybe snowing later) here so no BrodyDog walk.

Almost got stuck in St. Louis last week due to the cruddy weather in Boston. I felt like I was in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. My coworker got the last seat on earlier flight than the one we were booked on. That flight got cancelled. Our original flight made it out on time and actually landed in Boston a few minutes early. Ride home from the airport was an adventure though. Roads were terrible. The cab I I was in was a Prius. Not good in the snow / slush at all. I thought I was going to perish.....

My coworker didn't make it home until late Saturday night. Sometimes it pays to be the nice Dog and give up your seat to an anxious co-worker.

Today I'm juggling (again). :crushed: Two sick parents, two sick cats, work issues, other issues... Why yes, I'm still sane, why do you ask?
Totally missed this yesterday - somehow all I saw was the scrapple reference! Take care of yourself - if you get too stressed out, then you won't be able to take care of your loved ones!

Working.

Have to run to the bakery to pick up the Black Forest Cake I ordered for Thanksgiving. I will be bringing it to SwiftSis's house for Thanksgiving dinner.

Will be tough not to find the pounds I've lost since altering my diet during this holiday season........
Safe travels. Small portions and enjoy the goodies!

I'm pretty sure Holland is Scrapple-free. :p

Holland doesn’t know what they’re missing. Scrapple originated here in the states with German colonists in the 17th and 18th centuries. If you ever visit the east coast here in the states be sure to come the second week in October for the apple and scrapple festival held in Delaware. :)
