Holland doesn’t know what they’re missing. Scrapple originated here in the states with German colonists in the 17th and 18th centuries. If you ever visit the east coast here in the states be sure to come the second week in October for the apple and scrapple festival held in Delaware. :)

Apple Scrapple Festival - Bridgeville, Delaware

I have to say it does look good! The festival too, it really looks like a good time. :joyous:

To each his own, haha! :smile-new: It still looks like fun to me, but maybe that's because we don't have anything like that over here. Festivals here are usually limited to either local music (and not the good kind), or stuck up food events for hipsters who think they are interesting. :dread:
LOL. :). I would like going to a hipster festival... I'd go dressed in my old hippie garb and freak them out. :)

In the Lehigh Valley area where I’m located (42 square miles and not some big metropolitan area), we have about 30 festivals or major events every year. I’m all festival’d out. I think we're festival addicts here in the states. ;):)

Today I took an overdue book to the library before it opened (it was due yesterday) then I had to phone because they were still charging me 40 cents (oy - what a pennypincher!)

Now I am cooking some brown rice on the stove top and baking a butternut squash in the oven.

My feet are cold (maybe I should be wearing three pairs of socks) osnafrank

I think they are forecasting snow for tonight and/or tomorrow

My morning started nice. Stupid dogs chased a mink into my apartment. They started to fight and next thing I see a black furry animal and two dogs run inside and was thinking Oh gosh what was that just ran inside. Then it started to smell very and I really mean VERY bad, that poor mink had pee into my apartment.
I was in a hurry tor work and had to leave, my parents tried to get that smelly furry animal out before it does any damages. It took almost two hours but at last
a neighbor who knows how to handle these animals came and had a trap with him, so he catch it and the mink was out again.

Next thing was to clean up my whole apartment from top to bottom. My mom had been nice and cleaned when I came home from work and the worst smell was gone. I lit a candle to get rest of the bad smell to go away and now you don't even know that there was mink into my apartment this morning.

A crazy start for today.

I guess they won't be using Mr. Smelly to make a mink mitten? or a pair of them?

Working. Homework. BrodyDog walk. Moving some things around at SwiftDog manor in preparation for the condo complex's maintenance crew to replace my electric baseboard heaters and thermostats tomorrow. They are replacing the AC unit as well on Friday. Yes, I know it's winter but the AC unit is cheaper to buy this time of year. It will be nice to get through next summer without the AC unit freezing up after only running for a couple of hours.

Yikes!! Not a fun morning, but yay for your mom cleaning up and your neighbor's trapping skills!! ((Jojo))

Yes but less frequent. Probably for life. It started out once a month now they are trying once every six months.
((Lin)) Good vibes your way!
