In which John D. MacDonald novel is Stephen King mentioned? (referred to as 'Steve King'). Apart from the Travis McGee book.
Cinnamon Skin does have a Stephen King reference but it isn't the book I'm thinking of. The MacDonald book is about an evangelist church. I wonder if King could put a MacDonald reference in his next book just for fun. KIng has made quite a few references to MacDonald.

Correct. I read One More Sunday about a week ago. On page 256 of the 1984 hardback, MacDonald mentions that the photos of the dead body of the missing woman reporter looked like they came out of a 'Steve King' book. You come across quite a few books with mentions to Stephen King.
