So have y'all heard of weighted or gravity blankets? Hubby has always had a hard time getting to sleep and staying asleep, so after researching a bunch, I bought him (us) one for Christmas. This thing is amazing! It's about 15 lbs and once I am under it, I just feel so relaxed. Hubby is sleeping through the night and honestly, the hardest part is getting up in the mornings. They are used to treat anxiety as well. I love this thing!!:love_heart:

Science has shone wearing socks to bed helps you fall asleep faster and staves off night sweats or hot flashes. I don’t wear socks to bed as I’d look rather silly wearing socks and nothing else. :)

So, you think painting the ceiling will keep it from falling down? The help I'm think of can be found at 1-800-IAMNUTS. :)

That makes no sense! I usually wear socks to bed in the winter but often have to take them off in the middle of the night because I am too hot. But I was talking about weighted blankets, not socks, so anyway....

poke him again Sundrop!

I want to get one. Need to check Amazon. Does it feel like those breastplates they cover you with when getting X-rayed at dentist?

I hope Tony's mother is in it. Boy, she was a piece of work. I wanted to strangle her myself. I hated her little pity parties...but she made me laugh. Didn't she "accidentally" run over someone in first season?
Yes. Her friend. She took her home and pulled in the drive way, dropped her off and thinking she was in reverse, hit the gas. The lady flew up onto the hood and windshield.

I should look into getting one of these - our old duvet was quite heavy and I remember liking the feel of it on me and missing it when we switched to lighter blankets in the spring.
