Not judging here. Just an observation and maybe some input from you guys?????
Here recently at the DMV while waiting, there was a young couple sitting on the benches across from me. The girl was all over this guy. Not just casual affection. I'm NOT talking about casual affection. This was like ALL OVER HIM. Kissing his arm, kissing his shoulder, kissing his face, stroking his face, touching his leg, rubbing his back, holding his hand. Now, he seemed to be enjoying the attention. And she was a very attractive girl giving him that.
I'm all for happy couples who genuinely love each other, but this, to me, went beyond that. It was to the point of creepy. And really seriously one of those GET A ROOM situations that people joke about. I just wanted to smack her and tell her, leave him the f**k alone!!!! He's not a dog.
Men -- do you do this with your partner? do you like this kind of public attention?
Women-- same question.
Me? I'd be like, Quit pawing me you needy bastard!
But, I'm not a needy girl. I don't have to be up someone's behind 24/7. I like my alone time. Leave me alone. Go find a friggin' hobby and do it. I've got Columbo's to watch, quilts to make, books to read, carbs and sugars to attend to.
I'm a fun girl!!!!
Another question:
When you go out to eat, do you sit across from your partner or next to them? I watched a couple crowd into a booth on the same side yesterday. No room whatsoever for both of them. No guests showed up to sit across from them. They were elbowing each other the whole time they ate. It was ridiculous. Why they couldn't have allowed themselves a minute of not being next to each other so they could eat a meal without ninja moves. I'm sorry, I just don't get it.
I'm not going to get lost or leave you if I sit across from you to have a great meal. WHere I can actually look you straight in the face and have a conversation.
Thoughts?
It's okay. Whatever side you fall on is fabulous. THis is a safe space.
